Roberta Sparks Patrick
Roberta is a native of Tuskegee, Alabama, who graduated from Tuskegee Institute in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. She completed graduate studies At Fayetteville State and Indiana Wesleyan Universities.
Roberta’s work in the field of Education spans over 40 years and has included being a classroom teacher,department chair, college instructor and even a Learning Center Director in West Germany. She worked closely with the Indianapolis Chapter of the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers where she served as an academic advisor and coach for student participants. Roberta is active with her church, New Horizons, her Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. , various
community organizations, and currently serves as ITAC Vice-President. Much of her joy comes from faith and family—especially her daughter’s family, which includes 2 grandchildren who live in Michigan, and a feisty mother who lives in Tuskegee.
