Our Goal

The primary goal of the Indianapolis Tuskegee Alumni Club is to foster the ideals of Tuskegee University and its illustrious founder, Booker T. Washington, and generate financial resources to help Mother Tuskegee support students–particularly those attending Tuskegee University who are from the Indianapolis, Indiana area. We welcome and invite all persons who are interested in furthering this goal to become a member and supporter of the ITAC.

Our History

picnic-ITAC

​The Indianapolis Tuskegee Alumni Club was reactivated in February, 1969 under the leadership of Leslie House with the motivation of Mr. James Woodson, National Alumni Director.

The following officers were elected:
Leslie F. House – President
Ford Ratcliff – Vice-President
Delores Keaton Houston – Secretary
Other charter members were: Frank Adams, Dr. Earl Corbitt, Burnell Coulon, Dr. D. F. Froe, Dr. James Goler, Jacqueline Goler, Robert Goler, William Houston, Dobbie Smith, and Clyde Rudd Spearman.
